Synopsis

The sleep loving Rohan, with his bunch of three other friends, namely Sudhir, Navdeep and Javed, make a quartet that their senior-wing head and accounts teacher Lala (a name they address him with behind his back) proclaims is a set of most intelligent students that will forge ahead of everyone else.

Enter Ayesha, a new student in the school. She has a bizarre first experience with Rohan while the latter is bunking the class and uses her as a shield to protect himself from being seen by the Principal.

The subsequent meeting is at his residence when he realizes Ayesha’s mother and his mother are old friends from their own school days!

The following days are full of smart interaction, wisecracks, leg pulling, embarrassing moments as Rohan and Ayesha, unknown to the other, slowly get pulled towards each other.

A chance mention by Ayesha of her parents professing love for each other with their first kiss under the Eiffel Tower is followed by Ayesha’s trip to her aunt’s to France.

The absence of Ayesha creates a soft vacuum for Rohan and his concentration in sports begin to falter. His friends casually mention that he travel to France, meet Ayesha, get his mood elevated so that they could resume their game and their life.Rohan takes it too seriously and then begins the master plan for the master act to make a trip to France – to kiss Ayesha and propose to her. Right under the Eiffel Tower.

With no finances, no visa, no ticket and no contact number, it is a Herculean task and no doubt lively as Rohan sets off on his journey. He manages a visa from the French embassy under the pretext of appearing for the Math Olympiad exams. This in itself requires smartly procuring the school letterhead and the school stamp.

Visa obtained, Rohan and his gang team up to buy a return ticket using his father’s credit card and hoping his office accountants would bypass the entry in the statement.

Pleading his mother to convince his father to reverse the punishment on Rohan for a misact of his in the recent past, Rohan manages to obtain permission to travel to Nainital with friends. With a little money, Rohan makes his trip to Paris.

He lands in the city of love only to be shocked of the high cost of living and the daily expenses. He tries to locate Ayesha’s aunt’s numbers and with every passing incident, he just misses getting in touch with Ayesha.

Rohan finally does speak with Ayesha, but only when the Indian embassy has detained him after his father, having received a call from the credit card company, has learnt of his son’s bizarre adventure, and subsequently called up his contacts in ministry of external affairs for the safe return of Rohan. But Rohan, a lad with never-to-lose attitude, makes an escape from the embassy after calling up Ayesha and asking her to meet him at the Eiffel at a particular time.

Ayesha, not sure if Rohan was actually in France, has to alter her already fixed plans, and it requires the assistance of her aunt’s paying guest, an Indian guy, to help her rush to Eiffel, just in the hope that Rohan would actually be there.

The two individually make a race against time, running, catching the trains, the right one and the wrong one, then taking the bus and being de-boarded for lack of ticket, and then cycling, and then the cops reaching there… till the last moment when Rohan finally makes it to the Eiffel only to find himself late by fifteen minutes and Ayesha not being there.

But Ayesha returns, having forgotten her pullover at the Eiffel. She bumps into Rohan the same way that she did on the first day at school when Rohan was bunking the class.

Destiny finally gets them together as he kisses her under the Eiffel Tower for an everlasting bond.
